Started around the inlet quickly boating two short bass. Moved inside with the tide and landed a bunch more shorts and one supa fat blue that coughed up hickory shad pieces. Also missed a few fish. The bite died at high tide. Unfortunately, the action did not pick back up where it left once tide started going out. Many of the shorts were just shy of 28" and all caught on spot.
