Description
On Saturday I ran an open boat trip with Ed, Andy, Anthony, Scott, Alfonso, and Wayne. The fog made for an interesting ride out, and strong tides into the wind made fishing tough.

We still managed a 6 man 24 fish limit of tog up to 7 pounds. Anthony and Scott had the hot hand on this trip. Anthony even added a double header of 17+ fish.

The Marc Jackstadt charter had the boat for the Sunday trip. The conditions were much better today, but the fish didn't want to cooperate today. We had to move around a lot today, and I finally found a couple of small snags that gave up some fish.

We only boxed 18 fish, but the quality made up for it. All were solid 3 to 7 pound fish, and 3 guys were able to land their personal best black fish.

As always, great time fishing aboard the James Gang. Superb captaining skills and kudos to the crew for getting us out from the dock to the tog grounds in pea soup fog without a hitch. Great meeting some veteran Barnegat Fishin' Hole’ers also! Looking forward to flukin!!!!
